Illumina ​NextGen Sequencing

DNAVision was one of the first sequencing service provider using the breakthrough Illumina sequencing technology.

Several sequencing options have been developed and are available:

Sanger Sequencing​

TaqMan Real-Time PCR Assays

In combinaison with Sanger Sequencing, SNP genotyping using TaqMan assays is widely used in clinical projects for its robustness and accuracy.

Each TaqMan SNP Genotyping Assay includes two allele-specific TaqMan MGB probes containing distinct fluorescent dyes to detect specific SNP targets.
