Real-time PCR is the gold standard for validating data generated from microarrays and for quantification of specific transcript levels, whenever quantitative data, reproducibility and comparability between several projects are required.
This technology can be used either to repeat and validate data from microarray experiments or to do experiments based solely on Real-time PCR as expression profiling.
Using ABI´s new 384-MicroFluidic Card (running on an upgraded ABI Prism 7900 HT) in combination with ABI's validated Assays-on-Demand, DNAVision is now able to offer this service at a fraction of standard operating times and costs. This method is more reliable, less expensive and completely replaces conventional low density hybridisation arrays. Using the new 384-MicroFluidic Card, 12 to several hundreds of signals generated from microarray experiments can now be affordably validated!

It's very easy for you to get access to this new technology. All you need to do is:
We take care of:
For each MicroFluidic Card, approximately 100-500 ng of total RNA is required, depending on the expected transcript abundances. The minimum project size includes 20 MicroFluidic Cards.
The MicroFluidic Card contains 384 positions and 8 fill-in ports. Each of the 8 ports allows to fill one cDNA in 48 reaction chambers. Overall, you may combine 1-8 cDNA samples with 12-380 transcript-specific TaqMan assays and run 1,2 or 4 replicates.
Currently, there are over 40,000 validated gene expression assays readily available, covering human, rat and mouse genes. You can either compose a custom assay, or you can order a pre-configured Low Density array. The following pre-configured LDAs are available:
96 TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays that target important immune-response markers:
Furthermore, the panel contains endogenous control genes. This panel is arrayed in quadruplicate. You can run one sample per array.
380 assays for studying G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCR) important in drug discovery and toxicology screening. This panel includes markers for genes involved in:
Furthermore, the panel contains endogenous controls. This panel is arrayed in singletons. You can run one sample per array.
This panel contains 96 assays targeting genes involved in signal transduction, which are important in cancer and other major diseases:
Furthermore, the panel contains endogenous controls. This panel is arrayed in singletons. You can run four samples per array.
This panel contains 96 assays targeting genes important in the mouse immune response, in inflammation, and in cancer:
These assays are orthologous to those in the Human Immune Panel (above). You can run four samples per array.
16 human TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays commonly used as endogenous controls. This panel is ideal for choosing control targets that are not differentially expressed in your experiments. This panel is also a perfect introduction to the reliability, the speed, and the ease-of-use of TaqMan® Low Density Arrays.
DNAVision offers a wide range of services from complete experiment design (including RNA isolation, RNA quality check and design of PCR primers) to the entire Q-RT-PCR process and raw data analyses.
TaqMan Gene Expression Assays are pre-designed & pre-optimized assays. Over 600,000 probe and primer sets for quantitative gene expression analysis are readily available for human, mouse, rat, Arabidopsis, and Drosophila genes. These assays let you quickly and easily perform precise gene expression studies using real-time PCR.
Next to the ready-to-order assays, custom (by-design) assays are available. This allows you to perform TaqMan RT-PCR experiments for any gene or splice variant in any organism. Three different assay sizes are available. Assays can also be generated for sequence detection of specific genomic DNA.
