For these projects, DNAVision offers genotyping services on the latest platforms from Affymetrix: GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7G MegAllele System, using MIP (molecular inversion probes). MIP is an innovative assay technology that addresses the challenges of a targeted approach by offering flexible multiplexing from 3,000 to 50,000 SNPs per individual assay, the highest level of multiplexing commercially available.

In partnership with DNAVision, you can genotype your own SNPs from 3000 to 50000 per DNA sample.
Genotyping can usually start within 6 weeks of study initiation wich corresponds to the time to build , validate and deliver the genotyping custom GeneChip by Affymetrix. DNAVision can report a complete SNP data set from 1,000 DNA samples only 6 weeks after the start of genotyping.
