At DNAVision, we genotype the genes encoding drug enzymes, targets, transporters and receptors before a treatment is started in a patient, to advise the physician on the best choice. This can avoid unresponsiveness with a lot of medication withdrawals, as well as adverse drug events in patients.

For each drug, we extensively review the literature and draw its pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacogenetics profile. We genotype all genes involved in the drug metabolism, which have been shown to influence drug response. Based on the patient’s profile provided by the physician and the patient’s genotype, we are able to give advises on the drug management.
