Transcriptome sequencing : get long mRNA sequences by shotgun sequencing of mRNA population

Several options have been developed and are available:

Multiplexing: ability to analyze several libraries in a single channel
Long read: up to 75 bp (and growing…)
Paired-ends: sequencing inserts with a forward and a reverse primer
